The Hunts Point Development Corporation was founded in 1988 and for over three decades served as a vital support to the Hunts Point Industrial Zone. In the last several years, Hunts Point EDC has become an affiliate of Urban Health Plan, Inc., as UHP has broadened its work to include not only healthcare but also community development. GHPEDC will be responsible for granular engagement with small businesses and corporate fleets; for technical assistance for business owners seeking EV subsidies; for the communication of key milestones to local elected officials and community boards and supporting local procurement and workforce development initiatives associated with the project.

THE POINT Community Development Corporation is dedicated to youth development and the cultural and economic revitalization of the Hunts Point section of the South Bronx. Celebrating over 25 years of service, THE POINT offers a multi-faceted approach to asset-based community development. Its programming falls within three main headings all aimed at the comprehensive revitalization of the Hunts Point community: Youth Development, Arts and Culture, and Community Development.

City Harvest is a New York City-based food rescue organization that has worked to distribute food to New York's neediest for over 40 years. Since their founding, City Harvest has rescued more than one billion pounds of surplus food that would have otherwise gone to waste and delivered it, free of charge, to their partner food pantries and soup kitchens, Community Partner Distributions, and Mobile Markets® to help feed New Yorkers experiencing food insecurity. Through the Bronx is Breathing's Clean Transportation Prize funding, City Harvest will receive five Volvo electric trucks, some equipped with electric truck refrigeration units (eTRUs), to continue their critical work.

Since 2007, Empire Clean Cities (ECC) has been committed to providing citizens and stakeholders access to reliable information about alternative fuels, advanced vehicle technologies, and green transportation practices that reduce emissions in New York City and the Lower Hudson Valley. Through our partnerships with over 100 stakeholders comprised of fleets, vehicle dealers, OEMs, and other related industry and community partners, ECC has helped displace 230 million gallons of petroleum and over 1.2 million tons of GHG emissions in the NY Metro region.

Steering CommitteeThe Bronx is Breathing Steering Committee is responsible for providing input on how the project will impact the Hunts Point community. The committee will provide key input on the Hub Site Plan, amplify the project through public and stakeholder engagement, and collaborate with partners to develop community-driven recommendations for the Community Benefits Agreement and Vendor Recruitment Strategy. Additionally, the committee offers feedback on the ownership model and long-term redevelopment plans. Their work will contribute to the final Community Benefits Agreement and Vendor Recruitment Strategy.

Advisory CommiteeThe Advisory Committee for the Bronx is Breathing’s “Hunts Point Electrification Roadmap”—funded by the U.S. Department of Energy—will play a vital role as project amplifiers and guides throughout the public and stakeholder engagement process, providing key and expert input on electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) deployment. The Advisory Committee will consist of representatives from across sectors and segments of the Hunts Point community, ensuring a diversity of voices are integrated into the planning process
